VH to VG transmission adapter kit
VH to VG transmission adapter kit with trans ring, flywheel adapter and all bolting hardware
Want to run a VH but don't want the automatic transmission? We've designed our VH45 to VG 5 speed transmission kit to be a direct bolt on kit with no cutting or disassembly of the transmission. All you need is a VG flywheel, clutch and starter to go with your VG trans. If your going to run an NA trans with a TT clutch, you will need our VG starter shim to space the starter. The adapters are machined from billet 6061 T6 aluminum and comes with all the hardware needed to bolt the VG transmission and flywheel to the VH block. The flywheel pilot on the crankshaft does require a modification to allow the flywheel spacer to seat properly, this can be done with the crankshaft in the block. See picture #5. Not stopping with the adapter kit, we've engineered a new shifter bracket kit (sold separately). Xcessive���s shifter kit places the shifter farther forward than the stretched out VG location which will put it in virtually the stock location on a 240SX. Our bracket is also self supporting from the bolting point on the transmission, unlike the factory VG bracket that requires a rear mounting point on the body. We also have exhaust flanges for those custom VH headers. This adapter does not fit the VH41 block.
