S Chassis to Toyota Manual Transmission Cross Member

  We've made this trans cross members to fit the Toyota  R154, W58 and J160 manual transmission swaps for the S chassis when a JZ or BEAMS motor swap is done with our motor brackets. The transmission mount bolt pattern retains a Toyota 4 bolt style mount to work with either the early stock Toyota rubber mount or our Sereis 4 Urethane conversion mount (T-UTM-S4).

 The rubber transmission mount bottom plate must have a bolt spacing of 2.2" or 56mm side to side, this is the early style mount typical to a MK3 Supra.

Toyota has two different mounts, an early style typical to the MK3 Supra generation, and a late style typical to MK4 Supra and SC300 and later as well as most overseas imported motors. The two bottom stud patterns DO NOT interchange on our cross member. If you're using a J160 transmssion, you will need our conversion mount, T-UTM-S4.

The late style mount with the larger mounting pattern will not directly fit this cross member, we offer an adapter mount for these transmssions, part number T-UTM-S4.

If you have an early style transmission and would like a urethane transmission mount, you will want our Toyota Series 1 (T-UTM-S1). If you have a later model manual transmission, you will want our hybrid mount (T-UTM-S4).

If you have a newer transmission with the Tri Pod shifter off the back, they have a different location for the transmssion mount and do not directly fit our cross member. If you push the engine forwards to fit the shifter as the defining element, our cross member and driveshaft will not be correct.

 We've also included new bolting hardware for the bracket to the chassis to make the install a bit easier.
