Mercedes Coil Overs

The Mercedes suspension was designed for high speed Autobahn driving, so there's no question it works, stock springs just leave something to be desired for all out performance or the ability to stance the car. We've developed this bolt in coil over kit using quality BC Racing components along with a few of our own to make a true bolt in kit!

In front

We've made our own coilover assembly with Mercedes fit top hats and bolt on lower mounts. You just unbolt the stock units and bolt ours in place. The new units use BC struts, springs and adjusters, then we make new top hats with Camber adjustment and lower mounts specific to the Mercedes. The new coil overs allow adjustable ride height, spring preload and 30 way adjustable dampening. Front spring rates are 8K, custom rates by request.

Out Back

We've maintained the separate shock and spring assembly to keep with a bolt in configuration. The spring adjuster sits in our lower perch adapter to keep it aligned on the bottom while the top seats nicely into the stock upper perch. The dampener is set up with a combination of BC parts to be stock fitment without any modifications and has 30 way adjustable dampening.

These coils are selectable in the order fit either the 500SL (R129) or 190e (W201) chassis. There are minor differences in the rear that require optimized fitment, while they will "interchange", it's best to select proper fitment.
