XM Fuel Pump Mod - S2 - GS300

  The GS300 has a variable speed controller on the fuel pump that's located in the trunk. These controllers are known to go out over time and the fuel pump simply won't run. When you go to a stand alone computer and do a turbo motor swap or other power upgrades, the variable voltage will require extra programming and can make it harder for the fuel pump to keep up efficiently as well as cause possible tuning issues.

  We've made our XM Fuel Pump Mod to be a direct plug in by pass for the voltage regulator eliminating all of the variable voltage and the possibility of a costly unit burning out. This unit has a built in relay to trigger the pump when the key is turned on and the ECU sends the on signal. The new unit will not turn on with a stock GS300 ECU, we recommend our direct power unit, the series 1, T-S160-FPM-S1.

  Just unplug the stock voltage regulating unit located in the trunk and plug in our XM power jumper. The unit is still activated by the ECU trigger (constant power) so it's not going to be on all the time unless your ECU is programmed to do so. The low voltage signal for low pump speed used by the factory GS300 ECU will not trigger our relay unit. If you have a stand alone ECU that has variable voltage programmed, it may need to be reprogrammed for higher voltages to trip the relay.

This is the Series 2 unit with integrated relay that is still ECU triggered.

If you want the direct key power unit, you'll want the Series 1 (T-S160-FPM-S1).
