RSX---K series manifold

Your kit should include:

• 1 Xcessive designed manifold
• 1 Xcessive thermal barrier intake gasket
• 3 Brass hose barbs
• 3 ft Rubber hose
• 6 Hose clamps
• 2 Pipe plugs
• 1 m8 x 75 mm fuel rail bolt
• 1 m8 x 35 mm fuel rail bolt
• 1 58 mm fuel rail stand off sleeve
• 1 22 mm fuel rail stand off sleeve

Instructions for in car installation, steps 1-10. Race applications, see steps 7 and 9.

1. Be sure the engine has cooled adequately before starting disassembly. Some fluids may spray or leak.
2. Remove or disconnect all factory cover panels, vacuum/fuel lines and hoses connected to the stock manifold.
3. Remove the fuel rail; be sure to save the disc type spacers. They will be reused along with the factory rail.
4. Remove the rubber air intake tube, unplug the wiring harness and remove the throttle body being careful not to damage the gasket.
5. Unbolt the intake manifold, including removing the steel brackets from the bottom of the manifold to the block. These brackets will not be reused. The top row of manifold bolts has 2 studs, removal of the passenger side stud will allow you to rotate the manifold and clear the accessory brackets for removal/installation of the manifold without removing the accessory brackets.
6. Some of the factory hoses will need to be replaced with longer hoses. 3' of new hose is included in the installation kit along with all the necessary hose clamps, barb fittings and plugs for a complete installation of all factory systems. Pre fit the new Xcessive manifold to determine hose/barb locations and lengths.
7. The stock intake manifold gasket will not be reused. Install your new manifold with the Xcessive thermal barrier gasket for optimum performance gains. Tighten all bolts to factory specifications.
8. Connect and tighten the new rubber lines and remaining factory lines.
9. Install the throttle body and fuel rail. The long 8mm bolt and stand off sleeve go on the passenger side of the fuel rail, re-use the disc spacers if using the stock rail/injectors.
10. Plug in the wiring harness and re-install the air intake tube. Aftermarket intake accessories may require modification.

Some modifications may be required to install and run this manifold.
