Nissan Solid Motor/Transmission mount

’89-’98 240 SX U.S.A.

Fits all KA24 and SR20 setups

Your kit should include:

·         1 Plated steel transmission cross member

·         2 Anodized aluminum motor mount bushings

·         2 Plated 10mm x 1.25 x 90 motor mount bolts

·         2 Plated washers

·          

Instructions for in car installation.

1.        Put the vehicle on jack stands.

2.        Remove the four nuts from the motor mounts. Save these, two of them will be reused with the new bolts and mounts.

3.        Place a jack under the oil pan in such a way to lift the motor without denting the pan.

4.        Lift the motor slowly and remove the old rubber mounts.

5.        Install the new solid black anodized mounts with the two new bolts and washers provided putting the washers under the head of the bolt along with two of the factory-flanged nuts, leave the nuts loose at this time, use a mild thread locker on the nuts.

6.        Using the jack to support the transmission, remove the trans mission mount and cross member by removing the six bolts holding the cross member and mount, save the bolts.

7.        Install the new one piece steel cross member with the factory bolts using a mild thread locker on all bolts. Note the bent end with the slotted holes, this leg goes up on the driver side.

8.        Once all the bolts are installed you can tighten the motor mount and transmission bolts.
